Summary of accomplishment:
- Added a shield mesh
- Added a brand new attack animation
Today I decided to tackle my terrible attack animation. Combat will have an important role in the game, so I need to flesh out the attacks a bit before moving on. While creating the new animation I needed a shield to balance it, so I whipped up a quick shield mesh.
This time I took care to rotate the hips and shoulders well, place the feet naturally, and tried to create an overall more fluid motion in as few frames as possible. I think this attack will be pretty responsive once I get it int the engine.
